Who We Are

PokeVest is operated by Southern Islands Trading Card Company LLC.

Information We Collect

We collect the following types of information to help PokeVest work properly:

Account Information

  • Email address (used to sign in and sync your data)

User Content

  • Your Pokémon™ card collection data
  • Card images you upload
  • Metadata you add to your cards

Device & Usage Data

  • Device type and OS version
  • App version and feature usage
  • Crash reports and diagnostic data

Camera Access

We request camera access to scan your cards. We only store the images you choose to save — no raw camera footage is kept.

Push Notification Tokens

We may store your device's Push Notification token to deliver notifications to your device(s), if you opt in.

Subscription Information

  • Subscription status (active, expired, cancelled, grace period)
  • Subscription platform (which store the subscription was purchased through)
  • Subscription start and expiry dates
  • Platform-specific product and transaction identifiers (used to match subscription events and prevent duplicate charges)
  • Subscription change history (renewals, cancellations, billing issues)

We do not collect or store payment card numbers, billing addresses, or other financial account details — all payment processing is handled by Apple or Google.

Card Image Search

PokeVest includes a feature that helps you find card images by performing web image searches on your behalf. Here is how it works and what it means for your privacy and content rights:

  • Image searches are performed locally by your device. PokeVest does not proxy, intercept, or store the results of these searches.
  • PokeVest does not collect, host, or redistribute card images returned from image search results.
  • Images come directly from your web search — never from PokeVest servers.
  • Image searches are anonymous. No personal information from your device is used or shared as part of the search.
  • Card images remain the property of their respective rights holders. PokeVest does not claim ownership of any content imported via this feature.
  • This feature is intended for personal, non-commercial use only.

Only images you explicitly choose to save are uploaded to your PokeVest account and stored securely in the cloud (see "User Content" above).

How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

  • Save and sync your card collection and portfolio
  • Display price data and collection analytics
  • Improve app functionality and fix bugs
  • Respond to support requests
  • Send optional push notifications

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

Information Sharing

We do not sell or trade your data. We may share limited data with trusted service providers as needed to operate PokeVest:

  • Cloud Storage (Google Cloud Storage): Used to securely store card images and related media files uploaded by users.
  • Analytics and Diagnostics: We may use third-party services such as LogSnag and mobile crash reporting tools to understand feature usage, diagnose technical issues, and improve the reliability of the app. These services receive limited technical and usage data needed to operate and improve the service.
  • Payment & Subscription Management (RevenueCat): We use RevenueCat to manage subscription entitlements across platforms. RevenueCat receives a pseudonymous user identifier, subscription status, and your email address for subscription and customer management. RevenueCat does not receive your collection data or other personal information.
  • Legal Requirements: If required to comply with a law, regulation, or legal request

Data Retention

We retain your data while your account is active. If you delete your account, all associated personal data and images will be deleted from our systems within 30 days, unless we are required by law to retain it longer.

If you cancel your premium subscription, your subscription data (status and dates) is retained for record-keeping. Payment information is managed and retained by the respective payment platform (Apple or Google), not by PokeVest.

Account Deletion

You can request deletion of your account and associated data directly within the app or by contacting us at support@southernislands.llc.

Once a deletion request is confirmed, your account data, uploaded images, and collection information will be permanently deleted from our production systems within 30 days, except where retention is required for legal, security, or fraud-prevention purposes.

Some limited technical records (such as server logs or billing records) may be retained for a longer period where required for legal compliance or operational integrity.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access your personal information
  • Correct inaccurate or outdated information
  • Delete your account and all associated data
  • Disable push notifications at any time via device settings
  • Manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your device's subscription settings or your payment provider's portal

Data Deletion Requests: You can request permanent deletion of your account and associated data through the app or by contacting us at support@southernislands.llc. We will process confirmed deletion requests within 30 days and confirm when the deletion is complete.

Depending on your location, you may have additional rights under applicable data protection or consumer privacy laws.

Data Security

We use industry-standard security measures to protect your information, including:

  • Encrypted data in transit
  • Access controls and authentication
  • Ongoing maintenance and updates to infrastructure

Children's Privacy

PokeVest is not intended for use by children under 13. If we learn that a child under 13 has provided us with personal data without verified parental consent, we will delete that data promptly.

International Use

PokeVest is currently intended for users located in the United States, Canada, and Mexico. If you access the app from another country, you do so at your own risk. Your information will be stored and processed primarily in the United States using secure cloud infrastructure. By using the service, you acknowledge that your data may be transferred to and processed in the United States.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make significant changes, we'll notify you in the app or on our website. The current version is always available at pokevest.app/privacy.
